DESERT Technology
The Benefits of DESERT
More Power: Your Benefits with J.v.G.
With J.v.G. technology, you will have access to new, path-breaking processes in the manufacturing process and the solar module technology. We have our own in-house research department and hold numerous patents related to the production process. Don’t settle for keeping pace with the competition—play an active role in developing the market!
DESERT® & TROPIC® Technology:
Humidity Resistance
Even in desert regions, the relative humidity can get very high in the morning, reaching up to 100% relative humidity in January. Because of the delamination of backsheets and encapsulants, relative humidity reduces adhesion for glass or junction boxes, causing safety issues.
Desert Tropic Module
More Power with J.v.G technology GmbH
Even in desert regions, the relative humidity can get very high in the morning, reaching up to 100% relative humidity in January. Because of the delamination of backsheets and encapsulants, relative humidity reduces adhesion for glass or junction boxes, causing safety issues.
Desert Lamination Technology with J.v.G. Diamond DESERT Foil
Continuous research and development play a major role in creating new possibilities for manufacturing solar modules. At J.v.G. technology GmbH, we consider it our job to be a leader in this process.
DESERT +12
New Busbar Technology
With 12-Busbar-Technology, there is less shaded area on the cell, leading to more yield!
High Temperature Resistance
High ambient temperature
In the Sun Belt regions, the high irradiation leads to a high ambient temperature, and therefore a high module temperature. Due to an intrinsic property of the silicon, the module power decreases linearly with increasing temperature, which is a well-known fact in the PV industry.
Sand and Dust
Anti-Soiling Solution
A central aspect of desert regions is soiling. Soiling is a gradual covering of the module surface by fine particles (sand or dust). Due to this layer of dust, incident sunlight will be absorbed or reflected, and less light can be used by the solar cells. The energy yield of the module will be lower.
PID FREE
DESERT® & TROPIC® Technology
Potential-induced degradation takes place in the power in crystalline photovoltaic modules. This degradation is related to voltage and caused by “leakage currents.”
DESERT® & TROPIC® Turnkey Production
Mono-Crystalline or Poly-Crystalline?
Mono-crystalline or poly-crystalline - which module type is better? This question, in fact, can’t be answered since it depends on the area of application.
